Eddie Howe reacts to Newcastle's 2-1 defeat to Crystal Palace in the Premier League. He says individual errors led to the defeat. TIMESTAMPS 0:00 intro 0:10 We haven’t been able to go on and score more goals. It’s not the tactical instructions we give the players. We have to defend better too. 0:57 I dont think dark arts are our problem. First goal is not good enough and second goal individual error. Haven’t defended well since the turn of the year. 1:47 60 minutes into the game we were pretty comfortable. We didn’t create more. Some positives. 2:38 soft penalty but can’t overturn it. Poor goal to concede. 3:00 Always have to look at myself first. The tactical set up was good. Individually didn’t do enough. 3:52 I don’t pick the team on transfer fees. Osula deserved to start. 4:30 the away supporters were really good. 5:03 Confidence is a bit fragile. 5:57 Always difficult against Palace. The game followed a pattern. 6:43 No reason why we shouldn’t be able to protect a lead and not try and score more goals. 8:18 Desperately disappointed to lose again. 8:39 You always have to try and improve what you are doing. 9:53 Football is such a strange game. Sometimes you can be so close. You have to believe in what you do. @HaytersTV – Football Up Close.
